In a major international effort targeting cybercrime, authorities have dismantled the notorious dark web marketplace known as BidenCash. The platform, active since early 2022, served as a hub for trading stolen credit card details and personal identity information. Investigators say the site was responsible for trafficking millions of compromised payment records, and catered to over 100,000 criminal users worldwide.

To attract new customers, the site's operators notoriously released over 3 million stolen card records for free between late 2022 and early 2023. These dumps included full card numbers, CVV codes, names, emails, physical addresses, and phone numbers — a goldmine for fraudsters and identity thieves.

Beyond payment data, BidenCash also offered access credentials for remote servers, allowing criminals to hijack systems for further exploitation, including unauthorized access, data theft, or even crypto mining.

In a coordinated takedown involving U.S. and European law enforcement, more than 140 domains linked to the marketplace were seized. Visitors attempting to access these sites are now met with a law enforcement notice, effectively ending the platform's operations.

This takedown marks another strong move by authorities to disrupt cybercriminal infrastructure and send a clear message: the dark web is no longer safe for illegal business.
